It is better to know that there is someone available ready to provide you with assistance and a strategy. The SJCPL Job Clinic is here just for you! In this four-part series you will prepare a basic resume; learn how to market yourself to potential employers; learn how to deal with the sudden loss of income; and find out how to create delicious meals on a limited budget.

Coping with a Sudden Loss of Income

Many circumstances can lead to a loss or drop in income, and you may be caught unprepared, with endless bills to pay. When this happens, you want to protect your family’s welfare, but you also have to deal with your creditors. Edie Sutton from Purdue Extension Services will help you look at your present income and expenses and develop a new financial plan for survival. In addition, Certified Resource Specialist David Sisk from United Way of St. Joseph County 2-1-1 will talk about how to access resources from local social service agencies.
