If you have been reading any recent reports, you will know that laughter can improve not only your outlook on life, but can actually boost your immune system, which can in turn make you a healthier person as well as happy one. Even smiling can help improve your attitude. And if really want to combine mind, body, and spirit, there is even Laughter Yoga.
What we laugh at can vary from person to person. If I need a quick laugh I will watch an old I love Lucy episode, which makes me smile every time. My grandkids make me laugh. My dogs really make me laugh. I am fortunate to also be married to a very funny man. And, I think it really is best not to take yourself too seriously. Life is too short.
Like many of us on Facebook ,chances are one of your daily news feeds may include something that makes you laugh. In a recent post from Upworthy, Bob Carey wanted to do something to to help support his wife through breast cancer. He came up with the idea of dressing in a pink tutu and taking self portraits in various place around the world. This launched the Tutu Project. The story is heartwarming and the photos are very funny.
