A Look Through the Shutter

A Look Through the Shutter

The annual Life in Michiana photo exhibit gives a photographer’s-eye-view of what makes our local community great. Photographers of every age and talent – from student to amateur to professional – bring their best work for display in the library, and compete for cash prizes awarded by our panel of judges.

Fast-paced and edgy street scenes and action football hits hang near homey candid shots of gardens, children, and romantic sunset views. Inspiring landscapes and cute pet photos vie with artistic still lifes, costumed portraits and wild color manipulations. All shots highlight the beauty and diversity of our local community.

Prizewinners feature larger sharp, clear images with area interest and viewer appeal. Judges are experienced media professionals and photographers. Photographers bring up to three matted works of any size up to 11”x14” suitable for public display and community viewing at the awards reception and two month exhibit.

All photographers invited. A sharp eye, artistic vision and camera skills can show us all what constitutes a great community.

Entries accepted through this Saturday, November 16. Submit your favorite photos today!
