Why don’t you share them with everyone? Enter them in the”Life in Michiana” Photography Exhibit. You can enter up to three, and the entry forms are easy to get. Pick up hard copies from any SJCPL branch or download them from the very website you are now on – libraryforlife.org. Your photos will be displayed for 51 days at the Main Library in South Bend.
Okay, you have some photos to share, but you are not sure whether they were taken in the area known as Michiana. Bring them in anyway. The judges might not select them as prize winners, but we will still enjoy viewing them.
Yesterday, I got a phone call from a woman who wanted to display her photographs, however she was concerned that we might not allow her as she didn’t think the location of the photos was considered to be in Michiana.
“Where were they taken?” I asked.
“In Africa,” she replied.
I agreed with her that the location did stretch the boundaries of Michiana a tad, then encouraged her to bring them in.
Please, bring your photos to the second floor of the Main Library by November 16, so we can display them.
