Ahoy, mateys! Have ye been talkin’ like scurvy pirates today? Or did ye not know that today is “Talk Like a Pirate Day?”
Please bring yer young scallywags (ages birth through five years old) to Whistlestop Storytime Thursday morn at 10:10 or 11 a.m. to enjoy pirate tales and possible pillaging.* We’ll tell ye the tale of the Pirate Princess Bea and her bravery, and the tale of a father who will do all he can to save his son from scurvy dogs. If ye would like to learn a lesson in talkin’ like a pirate, Pirate Pete and his parrot will show ye how!
Prepare yer landlubbin’ souls for some hearty songs and other fun! And if ye sing along, we may not make ye walk the plank!
If ye have any questions, please pick up yer phone and call Children’s Services at (574) 282-4607. Heave to!
(*there will be no actual pillaging)

Sounds like tons of fun! Too bad I missed it. When is the next similar event?
