Don’t miss SJCPL’s Open Book festival on September 15! Some highlights of the day include a visit by children’s author Jennifer Holm, a performance by musician Jim Gill, and a show by the music group Jetta and the Jellybeans. Plan to also make a stop in the Storytime Room in Children’s Services for crafts based on the storybook characters who will be making an appearance at the festival.
Look like the Cat in the Hat by making your very own red and white striped hat, or put on your own puppet show by making your own Wild Thing puppet! You can also create a Clifford dog house and a Curious George doorknob hanger. So, stop by anytime between 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. to make something crafty!
