Meet our guest critic, “Lexie,” from the LaSalle Branch. She visits the library often and enjoys reading Fly Guy books. The author, Ted Arnold, has written and illustrated more than 50 books for kids, including No Jumping on the Bed and my favorite Catalina Magdalena Hoopensteiner Wallendiner Hogan Logan Bogan was her Name.

The Book: There was an old lady who swallowed Fly Guy
What did you like most about the book?: When the lady hugged the boy and swallowed Fly Guy
What surprised you?: When Fly Guy saw all the animals in her stomach and when she picked up the horse over her head
What other books do you recommend?: PJ Funnybunny, the Arthur books by Marc Brown
